Lasagne is a type of wide, flat pasta, possibly one of the oldest types of pasta. Lasagne, or the singular lasagna, is also an Italian dish made of stacked layers of this flat pasta alternating with fillings such as ragù and other vegetables, cheese, and seasonings and spices such as garlic, oregano and basil.
Ingredient
Tomato sauce
- Oil - 3 to 4 Tbs
- Chopped Onion - 2 Medium Size
- Chopped Garlic - 6 to 8
- Chopped Chicken salami - 1 kg
- Chopped Tomato - 2 Medium Size
- Tomato puree - 1&1/2 cup
- Salt - As Per Taste
- Sugar - 1 Tbs
- Chilli Flakes - 3 Tbs
- Oregano - 3 Tbs
- Black Pepper - 1 Tbs
- Water - 1 Cup
- Chopped Mushrooms - 500g
- Butter - 2 Tbs
- All wheat flour (Maida)- 50g
- Milk - 1 Cup
- White Pepper - 1 Tbs
- Lasagna Sheet
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Ricotta Cheese
Procedure for Tomato Sauce
- In a saucepan add 3 to 4 tbs of oil let it heat for some time then add the chopped garlic in the oil.
- Saute them till they are in golden colour then add the chopped onion saute them till they are golden in colour.
- After the onions are golden in colour add chopped tomato, tomato puree and water.
- Mix them properly on medium heat then add salt, sugar, black pepper and chilli flakes and mix them well.
- Put a lid on the saucepan and let the sauce cook.
- Till the tomato sauce gets cooked in a different pan add some oil and saute the mushrooms and the chopped chicken till they are medium cooked.
- Season them with salt, pepper, chilli flakes and oregano.
- After they are medium cooked add them in the tomato sauce mix it well, close the lit and cook it till the water in the sauce is reduced.
- Tomato sauce with chicken salami and mushroom is ready.
- In a saucepan add butter let it melt then add all wheat flour and whisk it till it gets into a solid substance (Roux).
- Add the milk and mix it till everything gets properly mixed.
- Lastly, add the white pepper and mix well.
- Boil the Lasagna sheets till they are medium cooked.
- For the Layering add the white sauce first in a bowl (any bowl which u want to bake the lasagna in )add ricotta cheese over it then add the lasagna sheets over them add the tomato sauce(with chicken salami and mushroom) then add ricotta cheese over it then place lasagna sheets over it.
- Continue this process until the bowl is full and then don't put lasagna sheet over the last layer instead add Mozzarella Cheese covering the whole top of the bowl.
- Then for baking preheat the oven at 180'C
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes in the oven at 200'C
