Kadai Paneer

Kadai Paneer – paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and bell peppers cooked in a spicy masala. This restaurant-style Kadai Paneer gets its unique flavor from freshly ground spices.




Ingredients:

  • Kadai masala
For Kadai Paneer 
  • 1 tbsp Oil 
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds 
  • 1 inch Ginger, 
  • Chopped 2 large Onion, 
  • Chopped 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste 
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder 
  • 1 tsp Degi chili powder 
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder 
  • 2 large Tomatoes, puree 
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 tsp Ghee 
  • 1 tsp Oil 
  • 1 Medium onion, 
  • Slice ½ Capsicum, 
  • Sliced 1 Tomato, sliced 
  • 250g sliced paneer,  
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chili powder 
  • 1 tbsp Kadai masala 
  • 1 tbsp Cream
  • Coriander sprig


Method:- 

 For Kadai Paneer 
  • Take a pan, add oil/ghee. 
  • Now add cumin, ginger and saute well 
  • Add onion, ginger-garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off. 
  • Add turmeric powder, degi chili powder, and coriander powder and saute well. 
  • Add tomato puree, salt to taste, and water and let it cook. 
  • Take a pan, add oil/ ghee. 
  • Add sliced onion, sliced capsicum, sliced tomato, and salt and saute for a minute. 
  • Add paneer slice to it and saute well. 
  • Add Kashmiri chili powder and prepared Kadai masala to it and saute well. 
  • Add the prepared gravy to the pan and saute well. 
  • Add cream and mix well. 
  • Garnish it with a coriander sprig.
